Posti and the authorities recommend several protection measures if you are a target of Psychotherapy Centre Vastaamo’s data breach. Please note that to protect your address, you should also contact the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, if necessary.

UPDATED INFORMATION October 30, 2020: All requests will be processed and activated also during the weekend. The confirmation messages will be sent out to customers on Monday.

Posti and the authorities recommend several protection measures if you are a target of Psychotherapy Centre Vastaamo’s data breach. Please note that to protect your address, you should also contact the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, if necessary.

Form block

By setting a form block you can be sure that even though your personal data has been stolen, no one can change your address with a printed notification of change of address.

Log in to our services either online at our website or in the OmaPosti application you can download on your phone and choose NO (paper form block).

Setting the form block on Posti’s website:

Log in > Click Mail Forwarding > Your contact information > Click Contact details and disclosure ban > Service orders using paper form > Click No

Setting the form block in the OmaPosti application on your phone:

Change of address notification > Contact details and address hand-over prohibition > Ordering using a printed form

Moving protection

You should activate the moving protection if both your personal data and online bank user ID or other strong identification information (mobile verification, ID card or single-use ID granted by Posti) have been stolen.

Moving protection also means that your address cannot be edited online either unless you deactivate the protection. Once the protection is on, mail delivery interruptions are not possible either. In practice, it means that you cannot suspend your mail delivery to your address for the duration of your holiday, for instance.

Request moving protection through the website while logged in:

Log in > Select Address change protection, Feedback about Mail forwarding or Nearby Mailbox.

In the message, write that you want to activate the moving protection and add your phone number for our possible verification.

An example message for when you have logged in to our web service: “I wish to activate the Posti moving protection, tel. 040 1234567.”

You cannot activate the moving protection by calling our customer service because we want to be 100% sure of your identity before we activate the service. However, you can also order the service by post. Remember that, in this case, you have to personally sign the order.

Deactivate your moving protection order in the same place where you activated the moving protection:
