Current status of the service
The Home Remote Storage pilot ended on 30 May 2026.
At the moment, we are not accepting new customers for the service. Service for existing customers will continue under the pilot terms and conditions until the end of the pilot period.
What was the pilot about?
During the pilot, we made storage as effortless as possible. We took care of collecting, storing, and returning items on the customer’s behalf.
The pilot period included:
collection and return of items at an agreed time
storage in a heated, monitored storage facility
item management in an app
the option to order items back whenever needed
packing materials delivered to your home during the pilot
The pilot was intended for temporary storage needs and could be easily managed according to individual needs.
What’s next?
We will bring Home Remote Storage back in autumn 2026 to the Helsinki metropolitan area as part of Posti’s service offering. The service will be further developed based on what we learned from the pilot. By following Posti’s channels, you will be among the first to hear more about the service.
