Express letter brings security to the schedule and provides item tracking

• With the Express letter service, you can have urgent messages, documents and proofs delivered quickly and directly to the recipient’s address.
• Express letters are delivered to the recipient on the day following the mailing or on the day after that, depending on the mailing and the route.
• Express letters are delivered every weekday, in the largest cities also on Saturdays.
• You can track the item with the tracking code.

How to order and send Express letters

Ordering

As a contract customer, you can order and pay for Express letters through the Posti SmartShip ordering channel. Address labels with Express markings are printed from the Posti SmartShip ordering channel and attached to the items.

If you do not have a Posti transaction code, order Express letters in the service channel for private customers.

Sending

You can drop off Express letters at a Posti outlet or postal center or use a pickup service (subject to a charge). Items must not be dropped off in a mailbox.

The maximum dimensions of an Express letter are 25 x 35.3 x 3 cm. Please note that Express letters are not suitable for sending valuables and money.

Delivery to recipients

Express letters are delivered on the first or second weekday following the mailing, depending on the route. Express letters are delivered directly to the recipient.

Item Tracking

You can track the delivery of the item with the tracking code attached to the item through Item Tracking.

Additional services

Saturday Delivery (in separately specified areas)

In separately specified areas, Express letters can be delivered in a separate delivery on Saturdays. Saturday Delivery is ordered as an additional service when placing an order for an Express letter. If the item cannot be delivered on a Saturday, it will be delivered in basic delivery on the following weekday. You can check the availability of Saturday Delivery from the delivery time inquiry.
