What is a Public notification?
A Public notification provides information about official regulations and public services. It is delivered to all households and companies. The service is meant for use by the state, municipalities and other authorities when communicating about services that affect every citizen.
What can be sent as a Public notification?
Public notifications include municipal or city notifications, notifications of noise and recycling instructions for waste management. Commercial advertising or direct marketing may not be distributed as a public notification. The sender is responsible for the content of notification and for ensuring that it does not contain commercial advertising.

Delivery markings and dimensions
In order for your item to be processed smoothly, make sure that all markings and dimensions are correct when placing the order.
An item delivered as a public notification must always bear the sender’s information and the following printed text “Julkinen tiedote” (Public Notification) and/or “Offentligt meddelande” in Swedish.
Minimum size: 90 × 130 mm, min. weight 5 g
Maximum size: 250 × 353 × 30 mm, max. weight 50 g
Minimum paper thickness: 0.1 mm (Note! standard copy paper is 0.08 mm)
Good to know: The item may not contain any separate attachments or be mailed in an envelope. If the material exceeds the maximum dimensions, it must be delivered folded. It is also possible to purchase folding as an additional service.
Sending
Items must be delivered to the designated posting places in the week preceding delivery, bundled in accordance with the mailing instructions and packed in transport units. Please note that mid-week public holidays may affect delivery schedules. See the mailing instructions for more detailed instructions and area-specific posting locations.
Delivery of items
Items are delivered twice a month, and the delivery days are published in the ordering channel. The delivery time is seven weekdays from the posting date.
Only one item can be delivered in the same postal code area at a time.
Items must be targeted at one entire postal code area at least.
