Posti’s year 2025: how we developed our services

19.1.2026

Last year was a historic one for Posti. We introduced a unified brand across all six of our operating countries, were listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, and to crown the year, our headquarters returned to the iconic Postitalo building in the heart of Helsinki.

Throughout the year, we made significant improvements to support our customers’ business and enhance the customer experience. We expanded our network of parcel lockers and service points, developed our circular economy services, improved the usability of digital post, and opened a new warehouse in Järvenpää – and much more.

Closer to our customers – our pick‑up point network is growing rapidly

We continue to develop our network of parcel lockers and service points so that online shoppers can easily pick up their parcels close to home or along their everyday routes. Today, parcels can be collected from around 1,100 staffed service points and nearly 2,200 parcel lockers, which now include more than 180,000 compartments. In 2025, we opened nearly 500 completely new or expanded parcel lockers and added over 31,000 new compartments.

In the summer, we began cooperation with Hesburger and YH Kodit, placing parcel lockers in restaurant and residential building yards – close to homes and everyday routes.Customer satisfaction for parcels delivered to consumers remained high at 4.5/5 last year. The strong level shows our commitment to customer needs and to continuously improving our services.

Second‑hand goods continue to grow online shopping

Circular economy continued to strengthen in 2025, supported by changing consumer behaviour and business models. The sale of used goods is increasingly moving online, and early in the year, every fourth parcel delivered through Posti contained a second‑hand item. This shift reflects a broader change in value creation: a product’s lifecycle no longer ends at the moment of purchase. Companies that succeed in extending product life and keeping items in circulation can open new revenue streams, improve margins and build stronger customer relationships.

Posti supported this development by offering practical and scalable circular economy solutions. To drive growth in different markets, we expanded our device pick‑up service across Europe and strengthened our refurbishment capabilities for mobile devices by adding two glass‑polishing machines. These services were provided through five Posti Green Hubs in the Nordics and the Baltics, creating a strong foundation for circular logistics.

Digiposti brings your brand closer to the customer

OmaPosti’s Digiposti is the only service on the market that gathers all important messages into one easy and secure channel. Seventy‑seven percent of Finland’s working‑age population already uses the service – and they are ready to receive digital content.

Of the 2.7 million registered users, more than 99 percent want digital copies, and 30 percent prefer to receive all content in digital format only. In June 2025, we introduced branded sender views that highlight our customer companies’ brand and bring invoices, reminders and messages together in one place. The view can be fully customised to match a company’s look and feel, strengthening customer relationships and making the experience smoother. Users spend up to 2.5 times more time in branded views compared to the basic ones. Since launch, the number of Digiposti monthly active users has doubled.

Digiposti is a reliable digital postbox for both private companies and public organisations.

Järvenpää’s new warehouse – efficiency and responsibility

In spring 2025, we opened a new warehouse in Järvenpää, located along excellent transport connections. The project is not only about new facilities but about taking the entire supply chain to the next level, where responsibility and efficiency go hand in hand. The Järvenpää warehouse responds to the growth of e‑commerce and companies’ need for flexible, scalable and responsible logistics solutions. The first phase covers more than 35,000 square metres and 70,000 pallet places. Read more

Finland’s largest clean transport fleet – on the way to fossil‑free transport by 2030

Posti operates Finland’s largest clean fleet, with around 1,000 electric and gas‑powered vehicles and about 1,500 light electric vehicles, from scooters to delivery trolleys, used to deliver parcels and other e‑commerce shipments.

A large share of our other vehicles runs on renewable diesel. Minimising kilometres driven and maximising vehicle load rates are essential parts of our daily environmental work. Our target is fully fossil‑free transport by 2030.
