Receive parcels at home
When you choose Posti’s home delivery as the delivery method of your online purchase, we will deliver your item right to your doorstep.
Ordering online purchases that are to be delivered to your home is easy. We deliver items to their intended recipients. Due to the coronavirus, we have made the following changes to the way we operate:
The item is not handed to the recipient. Instead, Posti’s driver will ring the doorbell and leave the item in front of the door. The driver will wait a few steps away until the recipient has received the item.
The driver does not ask the recipient to sign for the item. Instead, the driver will enter the delivery in Posti’s system.
Please note that our drivers do not currently handle payment terminals. Therefore, all of the items that require a Cash on Delivery payment are currently directed to Posti’s service points.
Select the delivery time
We have improved our home delivery service to enable you to choose a delivery window for your item. You can choose the optimal delivery time for your parcel from a seven-day calendar. The service is already available in most major cities and, eventually, it will cover the whole country.
The service is already available in these cities: Kerava, Vantaa, Kuopio, Joensuu, Espoo, Helsinki, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere and Seinäjoki.
Week 14: Turku
Week 16: Forssa, Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna, Iisalmi, Kajaani, Karjaa, Kemi, Kokkola, Kotka, Kouvola, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Mikkeli, Pieksämäki, Pori, Porvoo, Rauma, Salo, Savonlinna, Vaasa, Valkeakoski, Varkaus, Ylivieska and Jyväskylä.

Buy Home Delivery for your parcel via OmaPosti
If picking up your item at a Posti pickup point is complicated, you can go online to purchase home delivery for a parcel that has already been delivered to a Posti outlet under ‘Item Tracking and Routing’ in OmaPosti. Click the “Buy Home Delivery” icon. You will only see the icon if you can buy home delivery for the parcel.
