We will make minor changes to mail delivery in Mikkeli in October 2026. Alternate-day delivery will remain the delivery model in these areas, but in addition to the early-morning newspaper, we will deliver more other mail items during the early-morning delivery round, including other publications and letters. We will also deliver other mail items to households that do not receive an early-morning newspaper.
The change applies to the following postal code areas: 50100, 50120, 50130, 50150, 50160, 50170, 50180, 50190, 50500 and 50520.

Most newspapers and magazines delivered by Posti will be delivered as before, i.e. on the day of publication. However, the delivery times of some newspapers may change. In addition to the regular delivery days, we will also deliver newspapers on other days, as agreed with the publishing houses.
The delivery time of stamped letters and cards in Finland is usually four weekdays. If necessary, these items included in the universal service are also delivered on days other than the actual delivery days.
Parcels will be delivered as before to parcel lockers, pickup points, mail slots and boxes or to your doorstep.
