How responsibilities are divided
What the service includes: We deliver the device to the installation location, install it ready for use, and transport the packaging waste to recycling.
What are you responsible for: The installation can be carried out when the installation site, access routes and connections are ready. Read below how to prepare for the installation.
Ensure clear access and sufficient space
Make sure in advance that the device can be delivered safely to the installation site. Check the following:
The access route to the installation site is unobstructed along the entire way. If there are stairs or obstacles on the route that require lifting the device, inform us of this already when agreeing on the delivery and installation time.
The device fits into its designated space without dismantling or furniture modifications.
The installation site complies with the device’s user instructions and safety regulations.
This ensures that the device can be installed safely without causing damage to your home, the device, or the installer.
Inform us in advance about your preference for door opening direction (Refrigerators and freezers)
If the device has a door, which opening direction can be changed, please inform us already when choosing the delivery and installation time whether you want the hinges on the right or left side when viewed from the front. The installer must change the door opening direction before delivery. This cannot be done on site.
Protect the surfaces in your home along the installation route
Take care to protect surfaces during delivery and installation. At a minimum, protect floors and, if necessary in narrow spaces, also walls.
Protect the floors along the entire route to the installation site. The device may be transported indoors using, for example, a hand truck. For occupational safety reasons, our installers wear safety shoes also indoors.
Suitable materials for surface protection include protective cardboard, corrugated cardboard, or rugs. It is a good idea to have wide painter’s tape available for attaching cardboard.

Are electricity, water and drainage ready?
Make sure that all required connections for the device are ready and that the installer can work freely with them:
An electrical connection is available at the installation site.
Water and drainage connections are ready for use (when the installed device uses water).
The water connection has a functioning shut-off valve to turn off the water supply.
When installing a dishwasher, the sink cabinet has been emptied.
If the connections are not ready, the installation cannot be carried out.
Additional accessories and possible extra work
Some installations may require additional accessories. Installers carry a limited selection of accessories with them. If needed, the installer can sell an additional accessory at a separate price.
Furniture modifications, integrations, or extending hoses are not included in the installation service.
Moisture at the installation site
During installation, the installer may carry out a superficial moisture check if necessary. If moisture is detected at the installation site, the installation will not be performed for safety reasons.
This protects both the home and the device from possible damage and clarifies responsibility issues.
