Posti’s new service model for letter items that require signing is in use in Multia. Until now, mail recipients have been able to receive letter items that have been confirmed with a signature to the mail deliverer.
As a new service, Posti also picks up letter items that require signing from your home. Letter items that require signing include the Registered Letter, the Letter with Advice of Delivery and the Insured Letter.
Buy the letter product of your choice from Posti’s website at posti.fi/sendletter. Then contact customer service, who will arrange the pickup with the mail deliverer and inform you of the time.

The new service model complements Posti’s services in Multia. Standard letters are delivered to the mailbox or mail slot as before. You can send letters by buying stamps from a store or the online store for stamps (shop.posti.fi) and dropping them off to one of Posti's orange mailboxes or at any of Posti's service points. As for letters that require signing, the Cash on Delivery Letter will continue to be picked up and sent only from a Posti service point.
In Multia, parcels can be picked up and sent from a Posti Parcel Locker or, alternatively, at any other Posti outlet. Pay for your parcel online (posti.fi/send) and send the parcel prepaid. You can also use the mobile and web service OmaPosti for sending your parcel.
