We have been assessing the impact of the political strikes on 1-2 February on our services since the start of the strikes. Our current estimate is that the strikes will cause delays in the delivery of shipments as follows:
For parcels and freight, the delays are expected to be minimal
For letters and newspapers, delays could be several days to a week
Newspapers distributed in the early morning delivery service will, as a rule, be delivered normally. There may be some isolated local delays.
If you have not yet downloaded the OmaPosti app, we recommend you do so, as it is the easiest way to track the delivery of your parcels. Our business customers can send parcel to us as normal.
We will do our utmost to return our services to normal as soon as possible after the strikes end.

The Postal and Logistics Union (PAU) and the Automobile and Transport Workers' Union (AKT) have also announced their participation in political strikes.
Our current preliminary estimate is that the political strikes on February 1–2 will cause delays of a few days to the deliveries. The parcel deliveries is easiest to track on OmaPosti.
