The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly reduced international air freight capacity, which has led to increasing costs in international transport. Air freight prices have doubled or tripled compared to the pre-pandemic period.
At the same time, we have managed to re-establish connections to foreign destinations that have been cut off. Examples of these destinations are Australia and New Zealand.
As a result of the increase in air freight transport costs, we will adjust the contract prices of our international parcel services as follows:
3.5.2021 onward
The prices of EMS and Priority parcels in Posti’s international delivery will increase by EUR 2.50/kg in tariff zones 3 and 4.
The price change will not apply to zones 1 and 2 or to other international parcel services.
The new prices will take effect automatically on May 3, 2021.
The changes will also apply to the contract price list. You can check the new contract prices on our website as soon as they take effect. Tariff zones can be viewed here.
