OmaPosti's account payment service will be available again after the completion of additional clarifications. The clarification requests concerned, among other things, the information collected for the invoice payment and the authorization content needed for the payment. Based on feedback, we have clarified the authorization consent and customer communication in OmaPosti. In OmaPosti’s banking payment service, the customer is asked to authorize the permission to request from the bank the information needed to pay the invoice within the given consent period of three days (such as account name, account balance, account type and the name of the account owner).
"Thanks to feedback, we have now simplified and clarified customer communication. It is important that the customer finds paying invoices easy and safe. The service was introduced based on customer wishes and it was used actively, so it is nice to make it again available," says Salla Ketola, responsible for Posti's digital channels.
In OmaPosti, you can also pay bills with your own payment card or in the mobile application via the Pivo application (only OP account customers). In addition, invoices received at OmaPosti can be paid in your own online bank by copying the invoice information.
