We will make minor changes to mail delivery in Kirkkonummi, Karkkila, Lohja and Nummela in June 2026. Alternate-day-delivery will remain the delivery method in the area, but we will change the rhythm of the delivery days of daily mail in a new way.
You can check the actual delivery dates for your area based on your postal code at posti.fi/deliverydays.
Most newspapers and magazines delivered by Posti will be delivered as before, i.e. on the day of publication. However, the delivery times of some newspapers may change. In addition to the regular delivery days, we will also deliver newspapers on other days, as agreed with the publishing houses. Posti does not deliver morning newspapers in this area during early morning delivery; this is done by another delivery company.
The delivery time of stamped letters and cards in Finland is usually four weekdays. If necessary, these items included in the universal service are also delivered on days other than the actual delivery days.
Parcels will be delivered as before to parcel lockers, pickup points, mail slots and boxes or to your doorstep.
Alternate-day delivery is already in use in most of Finland and also in all Nordic countries. The reason for this is the dramatic decrease in the volume of printed mail. By overhauling delivery, Posti can continue to offer traditional delivery services alongside digital services.
