Posti has signed an agreement with the IT and consulting company CGI Finland Ltd on a strategic partnership for the development and delivery of multi-channel digital messaging services. Our goal is to work together to develop and produce invoicing and messaging services that better meet our customers’ rapidly changing needs as well as future cybersecurity and operational security requirements.
The cooperation between Posti and CGI speeds up the digitalization of messaging and the building of the customer experience of the future
The cooperation also supports the digitalization of messaging services and the building of the customer experience of the future. For customers, the cooperation and the modernization project will mean technologically modern, higher-quality digital services and the possibility of an even larger service volume.
The service production that will be transferred to CGI covers the technical systems of the invoicing and messaging services as well as the personnelworking on them, with the same rights as they’ve had thus far. During the transfer, we will continue to produce our services as usual, and no action is needed from our customers as of now.
As a result of the change, starting from 1 March, 2024, the following CGI companies will become Posti Distribution Ltd’s data processors or sub-processors, in addition to the current partners:

Services and ordering will remain unchanged
The change applies to Posti Distribution Ltd’s letter, publication, marketing and data services and digital services. There will be no changes to the key functions, such as customer portals and ordering channels, due to the transfer of service production.
