A significant proportion of all company senders and recipients (e.g. in the manufacturing industries) are closed during the week following Christmas and on New Year’s Eve. Please make sure that you send your freight shipment on time so that it will reach the consignee at the time needed. The freight shipment must be picked up by Wednesday December 19, 2018, so that it will reach the recipient by Christmas.
Food, medicine, beverage and spare part deliveries as well as home-delivery freight shipments will be delivered on all business days. Other freight shipments will be delivered on December 27–28 and December 31, 2018, only in urban areas with pickup traffic. The coverage of the delivery varies according to the location.

Posti’s freight network and terminals are operating on all business days, but delivery traffic is limited between Christmas and New Year. General delivery time promises are not valid during weeks having public holidays.
