It also comes as a QR code, ready to be scanned at a Posti service point. This makes sending faster and saves time.
QR code speeds up sending at service points
OmaPosti now includes a new feature that makes sending parcels even smoother. When you create a shipment, you’ll receive the Helposti code also as a QR code. It can be scanned directly from the OmaPosti app. The Helposti code is a six-character combination of letters and numbers. It’s used to generate the barcode needed for your parcel.
You no longer need to search for the code or open another app. This speeds up the process, saves time and also helps our service point staff.
How it works
Once your shipment is registered in Posti’s system, it appears automatically in OmaPosti. Open the shipment details in the app. You’ll find both the Helposti code and the QR code.
Pack your item and write the Helposti code. You can find your nearest service point using our location search.
When dropping off the parcel, simply show the QR code from the OmaPosti app. It’s scanned on site. This speeds up handling and ensures the information is saved correctly without typing errors.
You’ll also receive the same QR code by email. But in OmaPosti, it’s always easy to find when you need it.
