We work closely with Plugit to promote more responsible logistics. We transport Plugit’s charging devices fossil-free with our Green Freight additional service, and Plugit supports us in building a charging network across Finland.
Plugit Finland is a leading provider of charging solutions for electric vehicles, helping its customers transition to zero-emission mobility. All energy Posti charges through Plugit is 100% renewable.
Our cooperation in transport began in spring 2023, when Plugit identified development needs for its project-based, tightly scheduled deliveries. We helped improve cost-efficiency and reduce warehouse load by spreading deliveries throughout the week.
We support Plugit comprehensively in logistics: we deliver most charging devices as freight, equipment and spare parts as parcels, and charging tags as letters. We took a major step in April by moving all Plugit’s freight deliveries to our fossil-free Green Freight service.

Fossil-free freight and nationwide charging network development
Our Green Freight service offers Plugit fossil-free freight deliveries throughout Finland. It helps reduce emissions from deliveries, which make up a significant share of the company’s total emissions.
Plugit is also an important partner for Posti in building the charging network. Plugit designs terminal-specific solutions for us, and we use Plugit’s public charging stations in Tampere’s Viinikka and Pyynikintori.

Shared goals drive us toward fossil-free mobility
Logistics is one of the world’s most polluting industries. We share the same challenge and ambitious sustainability goals with Plugit. Posti aims to operate fossil-free by 2030 and reach net-zero emissions by 2040. Plugit targets net-zero by 2050 or earlier, and fossil-free in its own fleet by 2026.
