The postal market in Finland is changing rapidly. The volume of letters continues to decline rapidly as more and more messages, invoices and declarations to the authorities are sent through digital channels. The delivery volumes of newspapers and magazines are also decreasing.
As the volume of paper mail has decreased, we have adapted and renewed our operations to meet the changing market and the needs of our customers. For example, we have extensively switched to alternate-day delivery and renewed our range of services to meet the changed demand. Despite these measures, the decreasing delivery volumes increase the costs of processing and delivering an individual item. For this reason, we will update the prices of some of our services on October 1, 2026. The aim of the changes is to ensure high-quality and reliable services as well as a nationwide service network also in the future.
Price changes from October 1, 2026
The list prices of Postal Services will be increased by an average of 12–13% from October 1, 2026. The new prices will be valid until further notice.
Customer-specific price changes and the prices of individual services may differ from this general increase. Up-to-date price lists can be found at the address posti.fi/prices-business.

The Daytime Publication Delivery service will be renewed on January 1, 2027. The current service will be replaced by two new services:

The price changes of Posti Distribution Ltd will also affect some of Posti Messaging Oy’s services.
The prices of the iPost service will increase by 13% starting from October 1, 2026. The changes to Posti’s delivery prices that entered into force on August 1, 2026 and October 1, 2026 have been taken into account in the increase.
Potential customer-specific pricing exceptions will be communicated separately.
