How to choose a delivery time
Home delivery during the time of the coronavirus
You can order a home delivery normally despite the coronavirus. However, there are currently a few changes in effect:
- The items are not carried inside your residence. Our driver will ring your doorbell and leave the item on your doorstep. The driver will maintain a safe distance and wait until you have received the item.
- We do not require you to sign for the item; the driver will enter the item as received in the system.
- For the time being, our drivers do not handle payment terminals, so items that require Cash on Delivery are delivered to a Posti service point.
Large items and home delivery
Most of the time, large webstore orders are delivered to homes. Go to Item Tracking and “Transport service” to check how your item is delivered. You see, there are different types of home deliveries! These are the options:

We will carry the item inside your home address. The site must have easy access, and the maximum weight of an individual parcel is 85 kg. If the parcel is heavier, the driver will leave it next to the delivery van, on a spot chosen by you. Once we have received a parcel from the sender for delivery, we will contact you in 1–2 weekdays. We will arrange the delivery time (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) by phone or SMS. The driver will call you beforehand to make sure that you are at home to receive the item. Evening deliveries are possible in the major cities.
Posti Freight and Posti Express Freight
The item is delivered to the yard of the delivery address, but the parcel will not be carried inside or unwrapped. The delivery is available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you would like the item to be delivered after 4 p.m. or carried inside, please contact the sender. If the sender is OK with the change and it is possible to implement in the postal code area in question, the sender must request the change from us. Changes aren’t always possible on the next weekday.
