Posti will issue six new stamp publications with a total of 24 different designs in the first half of 2025. The stamps will be issued in two batches on January 15 and May 7.

The themes of the January stamps are Valentine’s Day, meadow flowers and the Finlandia Hall

The Valentine’s Day stamps will celebrate friendship and feature happy friends doing fun things together. The colorful stamps, designed by Minna Lehväslaiho, feature knitting, reading, playing and cooking together, among other things. More Fun Together is a 10-stamp sheet containing five different domestic no-value indicator stamps.

Artist Minna Immonen, known for her postcards, has designed the stamps featuring meadow flowers. The watercolor technique used by Immonen beautifully highlights the brightness and delicateness of the flowers. The basic improvement of the Finlandia Hall is in its final stages, and in January 2025 the doors will open to the public again. At the same time, Posti will issue stamps designed by Ilkka Kärkkäinen that feature photographs of parts of the interior and exterior of the Finlandia Hall which the general public will recognize. May stamps feature archeological discoveries, Moomins and lucky charms

In May, European postal administrations will publish the Europa stamps with the theme of archeological discoveries. The first Moomin story was published 80 years ago, in 1945. To celebrate the event, Posti will issue stamps designed by James Zambra in May, with illustrations and colors based on the look of the anniversary year. 80 Years of Moomins is a 10-stamp sheet containing five different international no-value indicator stamps.

The spring's congratulation stamps have been designed by artist Klaus Haapaniemi in his recognizably rich style, which is influenced by Finnish traditions and the Kalevala.
