This year, the theme of our Christmas stamps is gingerbread. This year’s domestic no-value indicator stamps for Christmas greetings and domestic no-value indicator stamps will depict gingerbread men who have come to life and set out on an adventure. The international no-value indicator stamps will show fireworks in the sky.
The Christmas stamps to be published in November are designed by illustrator Nina Kuu. The no-value indicator stamp for Christmas greetings will be issued as a 20-stamp sheet. The Christmas domestic and international no-value indicator stamps will be issued as 10-stamp sheets.

Two nature photos taken by Jukka Risikko will be featured on the winter stamps to be published in November. One of the stamps will depict frosty flowers in Alajoki, Lapua, and the other one a steaming winter landscape in Malkakoski, Seinäjoki. Winter Light will be issued as a 10-stamp sheet with two different domestic no-value indicator stamps designs.

Last year, around 16 million Christmas greetings were sent. Some senders want a Christmas theme for their greetings, while others want a winter atmosphere.
