The item may not contain any substances or products that are prohibited by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), in air transport or under Posti’s general terms of delivery. Cash, tradable securities, precious metals, gems and other valuable items must be insured for the delivery.
The parcel delivery times are 1–2 working days to the Baltic countries, 2–5 working days to the Nordic countries, 3–7 working days to the rest of Europe and 6–14 working days to the rest of the world.
The delivery time of an Express Parcel is 1–3 working days to the EU and 2–8 working days to the rest of the world.

Write the Helposti code, the recipient’s name, address, mobile phone number and email address as well as your details on the parcel. The phone number and email address are crucial for reaching the recipient in the destination country.
Official paperwork, such as a customs declaration, is not required for parcels sent to EU countries. For commercial goods deliveries, a commercial or pro forma invoice is required.
How to send a parcel to an EU country
A) Pay for the parcel online. After paying, write on the parcel the Helposti code you received. Add the recipient’s name, address, phone number and email address as well as your details. Take your parcel to the drop-off location of your choice.
B) Pay for the parcel at a Posti outlet. A customer service agent will print out the address label and provide you with a tracking code for the item.
The large customs declaration form (CN 23) is required for deliveries to destinations outside the EU as well as special regions outside the EU excise and value added tax region. Check the country-specific details to see whether you need one or several customs declarations. For commercial goods deliveries, a commercial or pro forma invoice is required.
Sending parcels to non-EU countries A) Pay for the parcel at a Posti outlet. The outlet will check the need for attachments and print them out for the parcel.
B) Pay for the parcel online. First check the required attachments from the country-specific details. Countries of destination that only require one customs declaration: If you pay for the parcel online, the details in accordance with one large customs declaration are printed on the item. This is sufficient for countries that require one customs declaration. After paying, write on the parcel the Helposti code you received. Add the recipient’s name, address, phone number and email address as well as your details. Take your parcel to the drop-off location of your choice.
Countries of destination that require several customs declarations: Fill in the required number of customs declarations (CN 23) and print them out for the item.
