Conditions for access to the service and additional information
The precondition of this special home delivery is that every mail recipient living with you is entitled to the service. If you have a mobility impairment or you’re over the age of 75, live in a shared household and frequently have to spend time alone, which makes picking up your mail significantly harder, you’re also entitled to delivery services for Special Groups. The service includes Posti’s basic delivery but not the early-morning newspaper delivery or parcel delivery. The local newspaper company is always responsible for the early-morning newspaper delivery. We deliver parcels according to the selected delivery type: if you select home delivery, your parcel will be delivered to your doorstep.
Ordering, aged over 75
You can order the delivery services for Special Groups for a person over 75 years of age by logging in to the Posti services or by filling in the form on this page. When you log in to the service, select the Nearby Mailbox at Home service under the Nearby Mailbox service and, then, select the statutory home delivery. You can also order the service via our customer service. Once the local delivery office has reviewed the request, we’ll send confirmation of the activation of the service. One service request is enough if all the recipients at the address are over 75 years old.
Ordering, reduced mobility
To verify a mobility impairment that is not the result of advanced age, you must present a medical certificate. Please use the intended Posti medical certificate template without any information regarding your health status details.
Log in and order special delivery services for Special Groups for a person with a mobility impairment. When you log in to the service, select the Nearby Mailbox at Home service under the Nearby Mailbox service and, then, select the statutory home delivery. You can also order the service via our customer service.

Send the medical certificate to Posti. The mailing address can be found at the end of the medical certificate template.
Once we’ve received the medical certificate confirming your request, the service will be activated and you’ll receive confirmation. If more than one person in the same household has a mobility impairment, each of them has to submit a medical certificate separately.
