Machine malfunction at the postal center in Helsinki to cause delays in delivery

A machine malfunction at the postal center in Helsinki will cause delays in mail delivery. The delay concerns the delivery of magazines and letters delivered to mail slots and boxes.

On average, delivery will be delayed by two weekdays. The regions of Western Finland, Southwest Finland and Southern Finland will be subject to the longest delays.

The delays do not apply to the delivery of newspapers or parcels.

The faulty machine has been fixed. In order to rectify the delay in mail delivery caused by the malfunction as soon as possible, we are seeking and allocating more personnel to help us do this.
