Posti's Information Service carries out an address clarification for items with incorrect address information and delivers the item to the correct address. This saves you time and money. The service saves you the effort and costs of resending the item.

You will also be notified of the new and corrected addresses and, for instance, the death of the recipient. This means you can correct the data in your customer register yourself and the recipient will not repeatedly receive items with an incorrect or misspelled address. This surely translates as improved customer satisfaction.

Posti can’t deliver all items even with the help of address clarification services. These undeliverable items will be delivered back to you. You will save the costs of these pointless mailings, and you can reuse the materials (e.g. catalogs) for different purposes.

  1. Customer Ltd. sends a letter with an "i" identifier for Posti.
  2. The deliverer notices that the addressee's address has changed.
  3. The deliverer changes the address on the letter, and the letter continues on its way to the corrected address for the same postage fee.
  4. The deliverer records the changed address information in the system
  5. Customer Ltd. receives the change information in electronic format and records it in its own systems.
  6. If desired, all undeliverable items from Customer Ltd. will be returned according to the selected service level.
