The first climate friendly parcels in Finland

As of June 1, 2010, all domestic parcels are delivered by Posti in an environmentally friendly manner. Climate friendly delivery is included in the service and does not cost extra.

Posti carries parcels to our customers in a climate friendly way taking measures to cut down the carbon dioxide emissions from delivery. The remaining emissions will be compensated through certified climate projects.

Features of Posti's climate friendly parcels

• The delivery of the parcels is carbon neutral – from your point of view the carbon dioxide emissions are 0 g.
• Cost-efficient and environmentally efficient service. The shipments are handled using Itella's regular mail handling process.
• Posti's packaging boxes are made from recycled corrugated board.
