Globe Hope is a Finnish company that makes ecological designer products from recycled materials. The company has aroused a lot of interest around the world. Each product is unique and hand-made.
As the result of co-operation between Posti and Globe Hope, plastic postal bags have evolved into stylish, unique 'Rahti' shopping bags, 'Par avion' pencil cases and sweet 'Kolikko' coin purses.
The shirt fabrics are used as lining in the clip bags of the 'Luukku' and 'Sinetti' lines. The colorful small bags can be used for carrying mobile phones, small change or makeup. The shirt material is also used as lining in the flower-patterned 'Leima' laptop cases.
The simple shopping bag 'Posteljooni' features a combination of the checkered blue Posti shirt fabric and the dark blue jacket fabric. In addition, Globe Hope has designed four postcards for Posti.
Globe Hope produces unique clothes and accessories from materials that are no longer useful in their original purpose. The company's operating idea revolves around aesthetic, ecological and ethical values.
The Globe Hope-Posti products are available as of the beginning of May. The products can be ordered from Posti's online shop, and they are also available for sale at Posti shops all around Finland. The Helsinki General Post Office's shop (Mannerheiminaukio 1 A) also sells other Globe Hope products.
