It is easy to choose a more environmentally sound alternative for remembering a friend. As of February 1, 2011 all deliveries by Posti are automatically carbon neutral, with no extra fee.

Finland is the first country in the world to receive all mail through carbon neutral delivery. All letters, papers, packages and direct advertisements delivered by Posti are carbon neutral without any extra charges for customers.

Posti carries cards and letters to our customers in a climate friendly way taking measures to cut down the carbon dioxide emissions from delivery. The remaining emissions will be compensated through certified climate projects. Features of Posti's climate friendly delivery

• Cost-efficient and environmentally efficient service. The shipments are handled using Itella's regular mail handling process.
