As of June 1, 2010, Posti's all domestic parcels are climate friendly without any additional expenses to you. In addition, the packing cases are made of recycled cardboard, for example.
As of February 1, 2011, all letters, cards, publications and direct advertisements delivered by Posti are automatically carbon neutral.
Posti Green products are part of Itella's environmental program. Posti is committed to reducing its emissions by 30% by 2020. The remaining amount of emissions related to the Posti Green products is compensated by funding climate projects that ensure reducing the same amount of emissions elsewhere. For you, the shipment is carbon neutral: 0 grams of carbon dioxide emissions.
