Photographic collection
The primary task of the Post Museum's picture archive is to preserve all types of picture material related to Itella Group operations. The picture archive is responsible for collecting, registering and preserving the Group's pictorial documents.
In addition to the huge volume of pictorial documents, all poster materials, postcards and video films issued by Posti or related to it, are classified as picture material. The rapidly accumulating material in electronic format forms an addition to the current picture base, but involves new challenges in terms of saving and storage.
