Loans and information service
You can borrow books and submit information service requests not only in the book collection but also on these Web pages or by e-mail postimuseo(at)posti.fi .
Inter-library loans from abroad
If a certain book is not available from the book collection's own collections, it is also possible to borrow it from libraries of foreign Post Museums.
The loan period is one month
We do not lend:
- Over 150-year old books.
- Books in a very bad condition.
- Manuscripts
- Book rarities
- Books with real postage stamps as illustrations or appendices.
Fees:
- Annual book collection card 10 €.
- Inter-library lending fee is 5 €/shipment + postage.
- When the book is sent from other libraries, the fee is determined by the sending library.
- Overdue fine 50 cents/book/week, subsequent books 20 cents/book/day.
- Information service fee 20 €, demanding information service tasks to be agreed separately (42 €/hour)
