Museum artefacts

Encompassing about 6,000 museum artefacts, the collection consists of articles from the 18th century up to the present day, ranging from post office fittings, signs and office supplies, as well as uniforms and vehicles, plus objects used only by the post, such as letterboxes, mail sacks and bags.
The aim is to broaden the range of museum pieces by acquiring objects widely used in postal services, revealing the transformation from 17th century mail-carrying peasants on foot into present-time electronic communication and logistics services.
