Advice of Delivery

Advice of Delivery is a good service to use when you need a receipt for your shipment. Items are only handed over against signature to the addressee or a person authorised by the addressee.

The sender receives a certificate of delivery to the addressee or the authorised person. In most countries the certificate is signed by both the recipient and the person handing over the item; in some countries it is only the latter.
