You can make an agreement with Posti on the regular pick-up of your shipments or order a pick-up service for an individual shipment lot. Parcels can also be delivered to a Posti outlet.
An address label approved by Posti must be attached to the shipment. The EDI message is obligatory and must include the recipient's phone number in addition to the address information. Posti offers a free-of-charge order channel that allows you to print an address label that sends electronic advance information about the shipment (EDI message) By indicating the customer's telephone number in the EDI message you can access all of the features of the service.

We deliver items to the address indicated on the address label. We contact the recipient twice in order to agree on the delivery time. The service includes one delivery attempt - if necessary, redelivery can be agreed for a charge.
Deliveries are made on weekdays. In larger cities, delivery is possible on business days until 9 p.m. and in other areas, the shipments will be delivered by 2 p.m.
It is essential that the recipient's telephone number is provided to allow Posti to contact the recipient. If the recipient cannot be reached, a contact request will be left for the recipient. If the recipient does not contact Posti, the shipment will be returned to the sender after 14 days.
You can print a return address label using the Posti printing program, the Posti website or your own system, or by contacting Posti Customer Service. The return label can be included in the parcel or sent to the customer separately.
The recipient can either return the item to a postal outlet of his or her choice, or a pick-up service can be ordered for a separate fee charged to the orderer. Unclaimed shipments will be returned to the sender.
Cash On Delivery
Posti is responsible for forwarding the cash on delivery amount to the sender's Finnish bank account. The sender is responsible for the correctness of the account number and the identifying reference information. In case the account or reference information or the information on the amount of cash on delivery is insufficient, Posti accepts no responsibility for the delay in the settlements or other losses.
IBAN account numbers and bank-identifying BIC codes, complying with the SEPA regulations, are used for cash on delivery shipments. The reference used is a national reference number.
With the service, you can ensure the careful handling of your products vulnerable to damage. Using the additional service requires a marking on the shipment and the EDI message.
LQ Transport can be selected for all (LQ) dangerous goods packed in limited quantity. The information in the Processing information fields is printed onto the TDG document from Posti SmartShip but is not transferred to the transporter in the EDI message.
Transport of Dangerous Goods (VAK)
You can send class-labeled materials that are classified as dangerous materials in the Finnish Act on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. The materials can be sent as address-labeled shipments or with a waybill.
Handing over without signature
With this flexible delivery service, we will deliver your shipment to the recipient’s address even if the recipient is not at home.
You can send address-labeled shipments the size of which exceeds the normal maximum size of the main product, up to the maximum size for the Oversized supplementary service.
