A parcel to a parcel point
A parcel point is an easy and convenient way for your customer to receive items in Finland and Estonia. A customer shops in your online store and then selects the parcel point as the delivery type and chooses the preferred pick-up location. You deliver the ordered goods to a Posti outlet or agree on pick-up. The item will be in the parcel point selected by the customer the next day after 4 p.m., or a day later in some areas.

For web store deliveries
Parcel Points (SmartPOST) can easily be introduced as a delivery type if your application supports the system and your web store is already integrated to Posti's pick-up point register. The register always contains the up-to-date pick-up point information. SmartPOST Parcel Points in Estonia are also available for your use.

Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail with the company-specific transaction code. You will need the transaction code when sending parcels.
Electronic data interchange and correct mobile number for recipient
An EDI message containing the recipient's mobile phone number is required for all Parcel Point deliveries. If you are using Prinetti, the EDI message will be sent automatically. More information about correct mobile number and sending EDI message can be found here.
Use parcel address labels in accordance with our instructions. You can print them, for instance, by using the Prinetti address label printing software. Once you have registered or signed an agreement with Posti's sales department, we will open a SmartPOST service for you in Prinetti. You can also use the Unifau printing system for suitable address labels.
Location of Parcel Points
Parcel Points can be found from Helsinki to Utsjoki, and more are constantly being added to the network. The points are located on busy routes in shops and shopping centers. In Estonia, the Parcel Point network already covers the entire country.
Your customer selects the Parcel Point
The customer selects the Posti Parcel Point they want to have as the pick-up point. You dispatch the parcels in the same way as any other parcels: order a pick-up or deliver them to a Posti outlet or a Parcel Point.
Once the parcel is at the Parcel Point, the customer will receive a text message with a locker code. They enter the code using the Parcel Point screen. One of the lockers opens, and the customer will receive their parcel. The return of parcels and the payment of cash on delivery items can also be performed easily using Parcel Points.

Indications and Codes
Contract customers are provided with the Prinetti address label printing software and the adhesive laser address labels free of charge.
Pick-up from the sender by 5 p.m. at the latest, or drop-off at a postal outlet by the latest drop-off time. Items with ready payment indications can also be dropped off in parcel terminals.
Separate pick-up orders can be made by using the Prinetti address label printing software by 1 p.m., in which case pick-up is at 4 p.m. at the latest.

An electronic notice of arrival will be sent to the recipient as an SMS, and the delivery is available for pick-up on the day of arrival after 4 p.m. at the parcel terminal with the locker code. The recipient also receives an e-mail copy of the notice of arrival.
The reminder message of the arrived delivery will activate the recipient to pick up the delivery, which reduces the number of returned items.
The item is available for pick-up at the parcel terminal for seven days. After this, the item will be returned to the sender.
Cash on delivery
Posti is responsible for forwarding the cash on delivery amount determined by the sender to the Finnish bank account specified by the sender. The sender is responsible for writing the correct account number and the identifying reference information on the address label. In case the account or reference information or the information on the amount of cash on delivery is insufficient, Posti accepts no responsibility for the delay in the settlements or other losses.
IBAN account numbers and bank-identifying BIC codes, complying with the SEPA regulations, are used for cash on delivery shipments. National reference codes are used as references.
Cash on delivery items to be transported to the delivery address can be paid when the item is handed over. Suitable payment methods include cash, a bank card or the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Amex, Diners Club
The item is always subject to special handling if the contents are fragile or the dimensions exceed 120 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm.
Payer other than the sender
The transport and possible additional services of an item can be paid by a person other than the sender.
